Reporting to: Principal Therapist
 

Job Scope:

Assess, plan and implement rehabilitative programs that improve or restore human motor functions, maximize movement ability, relieve pain syndromes, and treat or prevent physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases and other impairments.
 
Apply a broad range of physical therapies and techniques such as movement, mobilization, ultrasound, heating, and other techniques.
 

Other Responsibilities:

1. Advocating for residents (pertaining to overall well-being).
2. Teaching and sharing of common medical problems pertaining to physiotherapy.
3. Public education and promotion of gerontology.
4. Tailor therapeutic programmes and incorporate into sports activities eg. telematches, sports day, bowling competition.
5. Staff training eg. lifting and transfers.
6. Coordinates and chairs weekly individual care plans (ICP).
7. Sourcing and purchasing of therapeutic and mobility equipments.
8. Project development eg. daycare and nursing homes for dementia .
9. Management of Rehab department.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• More than 3 years working experience
• To be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore as Full Registrant
• Have a valid BCLS certification

Salary Range: $3,500 - $5,000
(Commensurate with experience and qualification)
